Quiet Light Communications Names New President

ROCKFORD, IL – Quiet Light Communications (QLC) announced the appointment of Michael Leonard as the agency’s President. Leonard brings invaluable industry experience to QLC from his position as Group Publisher – Prepared Foods Network.

“Quiet Light has continually invested in people and processes, which enhance the strategic position and the communications objectives of our food clients around the world,” according to Terry Schroff, CEO of QLC. “We’re excited at the opportunity to have Mike join our very talented team. Mike’s deep roots in the food industry, along with his analytical mind and strategic capabilities, will serve as a significant advantage to the client/partners we serve. In addition, Mike has always impressed me by his desire to put the needs of his clients and their objectives first, which is part of what makes him such a great cultural fit.”

In addition to helping oversee the agency’s day-to-day operating activities, Leonard will work with QLC’s clients to provide additional strategic insight as part of the marketing communications effort and the creative process.

Leonard is currently the Group Publisher for a group of BNP-owned media properties, which include Prepared Foods, Industria Alimenticia, Brand Packaging and Private Label Buyer. Prior to this Leonard was instrumental in the launch and on-going success of Food Product Design magazine, up until its sale to a venture capital group in 2009. Leonard will join the agency in his new role March 31, 2014.
