Web Developer
We are an internationally recognized advertising agency looking for a Web Programmer with significant development expertise.
Essential Skills
PHP, CSS, Javascript, JQuery/MooTools, Joomla/Drupal, SQL, CSS3, HTML5, Actionscript
Preferred Skills
Codeigniter/CakePHP, Wordpress, Python/Django, Ruby, Mobile App Development (Objective-C & Java)
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
This position requires you to be organized, professional, motivated and a team player, be able to handle multiple projects, reliably meet deadlines and produce fully functional Web projects. Good analytical problem solving skills required. Familiarity with browser capabilities, user interface requirements, cross-platforming, SEO, site architecture, and Web server hardware are important to this position.
The candidate should have the ability to look at the big picture, providing cutting-edge solutions to clients needs, communicating thoughts with confidence and knowledge of Web technology in front of clients while speaking in layman’s so as to be easily understood.
The right candidate will help lead the agency in:
- Developing site architecture for new websites and pages.
- Developing Web-oriented projects based on creative and marketing strategies in approved proposals. (i.e., websites, rich-media banner ads, microsites, landing pages and e-mail blasts.)
- Regularly updating active websites maintained by the agency, and updating existing code to ensure sites stay functional as technology changes.
- Staying current on all programming-related technology trends, innovations, hardware and software upgrades and helping to keep the agency on the leading edge of interactive design/implementation.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or experience that demonstrates the necessary abilities.
