Q: Where are you from originally?
A: I’m a product of Rockford, IL, born and raised. Spent some time in Savannah, Georgia, for college but the majority of my years have been in good-ole Rockford.
Q: What do you like to do in your spare time? Hobbies?
A: Spare time eh…what’s that? All joking aside, at this point in my life coaching my daughters’ softball teams has become my hobby and where I spend the majority of what was supposed to be spare time.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: I’d have to say fruit! I know that’s incredibly simple, but boy do I love some fresh fruit. I got a peach tree in my yard and when they ripen, peaches are about 90% of my diet…maybe 95% if I’m honest.
Q: Do you cook â if so, what is your specialty?
A: I love to cook but my picky kids usually limit cooking activities to making pancakes from scratch or baking cookies. Which reminds me I need to dig up the cookie recipe for the Annual QLC Holiday Cookie Exchange!
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: We are definitely a pet friendly family! Right now, we have a 10-year-old German Shepard named Leo, a 2-year-old rabbit named Poe and hermit crabs named Kermit and Racheal, we’ve had them for 3 years but who knows how old these Country Fair winnings are.
